Squirrels in their natural habitat are something to see. Unlike city squirrels who lose most of the fur on their tales from crawling through tight spaces squirrels in the wild tend to have tails that are distinctly perfect. They tend to live in hollow trees and logs, in nests in trees like birds and in underground nests left by burrowing rodents. They may also make nests in tight places between rocks or in a dip in the ground, a fox hole does well too. The squirrels in their natural habitat don’t often eat garbage but they are still omnivores and one of their favourite foods is eggs and baby birds. They love everything about them and will often rob a bird’s nest when the parents aren’t home. Squirrels will also eat all sorts of foliage, roots and, of course, nuts and seeds.

They are all aggressive and all of them are omnivores. They are all territorial and most of them will attack if their nest is threatened. Do not attempt to evict a squirrel on your own, you will fail and possibly make it much worse.
If you have a squirrel in your attic it is not a wild squirrel in the sense that is actually relatively house trained in that it is used to living in the warmth of human homes and accessing human food, they are not, however, house trained like your dog and they will rip the attic apart while defecating and urinating everywhere they can. They make nests out of insulation and chew on electric wires which can cause horrific fires that are very hard to put out. So if you have a squirrel in your attic call Squirrel Control, we can get them out humanely and quickly and leave you with the peace of mind you so desire.
